This feature is designed for schools/districts with the mobile app and the Mass Notification option (i.e. parent/guardian contacts synced with your SIS).
It is necessary for staff to sign in to the app using their work email in order to access features such as Add Message, to respond to Chat messages from parents, or to access content for staff groups. If a staff member is also a parent, depending on your app’s configuration they may also be able to subscribe to their children’s classes or other groups. However, if the parent’s personal email is in your SIS then the parent will have to sign in with that same personal email to make full use of the app.
Starting with app version 6.5, these staff are able to sign in to both accounts. They’ll receive push notifications for both their staff and parent subscriptions, and they can easily toggle between the accounts to view Messages, Calendar, and Groups for each. From the Home tab, once they set this up, staff can toggle between their two accounts:
